Yes, you read right, I make a living from Facebook and I’ll show you how! You’re probably wondering what I do? Direct sales, ads, consulting, etc. The truth is, there are many ways you can make Facebook work for you so you can earn a full time income. The good news is, it’s 100% free. Read on to learn how I make my full time living from Facebook!
Working on Facebook
I use Facebook for many purposes. It’s an amazing network that you use to connect with family, friends, peers, colleagues, etc. I capitalize off the social network for their groups.
Have you heard of Facebook groups? Groups are like little clubs on Facebook that are themed. They are free to join and once you join, you’ll be part of a little community where you can interact with like-minded folks about recipes, parenting, consulting, shopping, etc.
Facebook groups can be on just about any topic. The groups I’m in are business-related, about dieting, about vegan eating, local garage sales, and more!
So, how do you use groups to make a living?
I use Facebook groups to make a living indirectly. That means, the groups themselves don’t pay me or provide a source of income but I use the group to link back to my blog and my blog makes me money! Make sense?
My Exact Process of Earning Full Time
So first of all, yes you can make a full time living from blogging. See this blogger, her, her, and her. These girls are rocking and making a lot of money from their blog. I never dreamed over earning $40K or $50K per month until I learned about the power of blogging.
Ok, so here’s what I do. I use Facebook group threads to drive traffic back to my blog. The more traffic, the income (usually). I participate in group threads on many different things:
- Stumbleupon stumbles
- Facebook likes
- Blog comments
- Site visits
These threads promote activity and traffic on the site. You have to think about it this way, if you get 100 people per day doing activity on your account the impact of 100 actions is huge!
It only takes one share to help a post go viral. It only takes one comment to convince another reader to purchase an affiliate product. Makes sense?
Step 1.) Join groups
Step 2.) Participate and reciprocate
Step 3.) Participate more and considering hiring a VA to do the reciprocation
Then, just monitor the results on Google Analytics. This works every time for me!
What Groups to Focus On
I recommend focusing on blogging groups and niche-specific groups. Want an inside look at my top 9 best performing highest traffic-making groups? Take a look.
Starting a Group Yourself
Do this! It’s a great way to be known in the blogging community and get traffic back to your blog. I admin 5 groups! You can create a group on whatever you like. If you blog about parenting, you can make a community for moms. Fashion bloggers can great a group that’s a hub for the latest fashions. The list goes on and on.
How I’ve Earned with Facebook
Facebook has fueled my blogs with traffic, engagement, clicks, and purchases, all with zero ads! It’s made me a full time living and the ability to continue working from home and being an at home mama to my preschooler son.
