Hey friend, did you know that you can get sizeable traffic from Facebook? Without paying for ads!
I’ve been getting awesome traffic from Facebook groups! Yes, groups on Facebook. I’ll show you how. First, a short background on groups and how they work.
How do Facebook Groups work?
Groups are like little Facebook clubs. These groups can be public, private, or secret. Each group is based around a theme and there are thousands of groups on just about everything! I’m in 100+ groups (addicted much, haha) and they are on a huge variety of topics for business and personal:
- Vegan eating
- Local garage sales
- Apartments/homes for sale and rent
- Dieting with smoothies
These are just some topics from the groups I belong to. The groups I get traffic from post engagement threads. Engagement threads are threads that are meant to create engagement (likes, shares, comments, etc.) for your blog or business. My group, Pinning Ain’t Easy is dedicated to Pinterest engagement (mostly). I post threads on Pinterest repins in different categories, Pinterest follows, Twitter follows, Stumbelupon posts, and more!
The groups I belong to, do the same, as well as threads for other creative actions like Alexa ranking boost, Google SEO, and more! Here are the 9 Facebook groups that bring me the most traffic:
Why These Groups??
They’re my fave because of how active they are. The admins share tons of engagement threads which help with traffic and also help you discover new blogs and connect with others in the industry.
I have developed an easy routine which helps me circle through these threads fast, participate in threads, reciprocate, rinse and repeat. I do this all myself but you can hire a VA (virtual assistant) to do this too (I know many bloggers that do).
